How can I get involved?

Forest owners, manufacturers, wood-processing enterprises, printers, traders or retailers - you may wish to get your product flow certified. Doing so gives your certified products access to the PEFC logo for communication purposes. For details contact your national PEFC office or the PEFC Council.

Environmental organisations (ENGOs)

If you are interested in actively participating in the promotion of sustainable forest management through PEFC certification contact your national PEFC member organisation at PEFC Members & Schemes and the international platform for ENGOs involved with and interested in PEFC
(FNE France Nature Environnement, Tel. +33 2 38 62 49 26, Fax +33 2 38 62 54 73, Email: foret@fne.asso.fr).

End-Customers/Consumers

You can purchase a PEFC-labelled product or ask to see the chain of custody certificate to be sure that you are contributing to the sustainble forest management of forests certification.
See also PEFC information leaflet "It's good to buy certified wood - Choose PEFC certified products and protect the environment".

Woodland owners

You may want to obtain a PEFC certificate for your forest management. To do so, contact your endorsed national PEFC certification scheme for details of certification bodies operating in your area.

Other interested parties

If you are interested in sustainable forest management and its certification and wish to become involved in PEFC in your country or to promote sustainable forest management through PEFC for educational purposes, contact your national PEFC representative.
