Revised Swiss Q-label certification scheme (2007)

PEFC Switzerland submitted the revised revised Swiss Q-label scheme for the re-assessment against the PEFC Council requirements.

The PEFC Council has selected based on tendering procedures FORM International to assess the revised Swiss Q-label scheme against the PEFC Council requirements.

The revised Q-label scheme was endorsed by the PEFC Council as meeting the PEFC Council requirements on 4 March 2008 and the endorsement is valid until 31 December 2008.

The extension of the scheme validity for a further five years is subject to the additional assessment of the "final 2008 forest management standard" which is still undergoing the revision process.

The Q-label scheme scheme uses the PEFC International Chain of Custody standard (Annex 4 of the PEFC Technical Document) for the purposes of chain of custody certification.
