The revised AFS scheme described in the downloadable documents below is now undergoing the PEFC re-endorsement process.
The PEFC Council has appointed FORM International as an independent consultant to carry out the assessment of the AFS scheme against the PEFC Council requirements for forest certification schemes.
The PEFC Council has announced public consultation as a part of the endorsement process and all interested individuals and organisations are invited to comment on the scheme by 23 September 2008 and to send comments directly to the assessor.
