PEFC Czech Republic is an association of legal entities supporting sustainable forest management. The objective of PEFC Czech Republic is to support sustainable forest management and consumption of wood as an ecological and renewable raw material, nature protection, and sustainable development of the society through the implementation of the Czech Forest Certification Scheme.
The objectives of PEFC Czech Republic are as follows:
- to create and administer the Czech Forest Certification Scheme,
- to present and promote the Czech Forest Certification Scheme,
- to represent PEFC Czech Republic in the PEFC Council and
- to assure mutual recognition with similar certification schemes.
