The Finnish Forest Certification Council has submitted the revised Finnish Forest Certification Scheme for the re-assessment against the PEFC Council requirements.
The PEFC Council has selected based on tendering procedures FORM International, an independent consultant, to assess the revised Finnish Forest Certification Scheme against the PEFC Council requirements.
The revised Finnish Forest Certification Scheme was endorsed by the PEFC Council as meeting the PEFC Council requirements on 7 March 2005
The Finnish scheme uses the PEFC International Chain of Custody standard (Annex 4 of the PEFC Technical Document) for the purposes of chain of custody certification.
