Revised Latvian forest certification scheme (2007)

The revised Latvian Forest Certification System described in the downloadable documents below was submitted for the PEFC re-endorsement.

The PEFC Council has appointed Indufor Oy as an independent consultant to carry out the assessment of the Latvian system against the PEFC Council requirements for forest certification schemes.

The PEFC Council has announced public consultation as a part of the endorsement process and all interested individuals and organisations are invited to comment on the scheme by 19 March 2008 and to send comments directly to the consultant.
