JIA has received official accreditation from SWEDAC - an official national accreditation body - to carry out chain of custody certifications according to the PEFC Council standard for the chain of custody of wood.
JIA is a Japanese certification body operating various certification schemes including Environmental Product Declarations and currently also PEFC chain of custody.
SWEDAC is a public authority under the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. SWEDAC is the national accreditation body, that assesses the competence of laboratories, certification and inspection bodies. SWEDAC is a member of IAF (International Accreditation Forum) and EA (European Accreditation) and through IAF multilateral agreements the accreditations issued by SWEDAC are recognised all over the world.
