Revision scope and introduction

An introduction paper, published in March 2008, contains information about objectives, scope, basic principles, bodies governing the revision, and timetable of the revision work.

First round consultation

A first round of public consultation in April 2008 identified critical issues of particular relevance to PEFC Logo users, PEFC National Governing Bodies and other stakeholders. The comments received during this initial consultation provided valuable input in the ongoing development of the revised PEFC Logo usage rules.

Second round consultation

A second round of consultation on Draft 2 of the revised PEFC Logo usage rules document was carried out in July 2008. Comments submitted to the PEFC Council were considered by the PEFC Chain of Custody and Labelling working group and a new draft document was provided to the Board of Directors for the formal approval process.
