The second edition of PEFC ST 2001:2008 incorporates Amendment No. 1, adopted by the PEFC General Assembly on 12th November 2010. The changes required by the amendment are indicated in the text by a marginal bar and amendment number against the clause, note, figure or part thereof affected.

The transition period during which PEFC labelling can be carried out against either PEFC ST 2001:2008 (based on Annex 4) or 2001:2008, second edition (based on PEFC ST 2002:2010) ends on 26th November 2011 and from that date on all PEFC Logo users shall use the PEFC Label in compliance with the second edition.
