Lena Ek

Lena is Chairman of the Board of Södra Skogsägarna, the largest forest industry in Sweden, since 2015.
She is also Chairman of the Board, European Forestry Technology Platform, Brussels, since 2016, and Chairman of the Board, Mistra Geopolitics Sweden, since 2018.
Lena is a Former minister of Environment Sweden, 2011-2014, Former member of the European Parliament 2004-2011as well as a Former member of the Swedish Parliament 1998-2004.
She served as a member of the board Royal Technology University (KTH) Stockholm, Gothenburg University and governmental coordinator for the European Spallation Source (ESS).
