Chain of custody & EUDR online refresher training
Chain of custody & EUDR online refresher training
Auditor training
Experienced auditors, reviewers, and certification decision makers are invited to register for an online PEFC recognised chain of custody and EUDR DDS refresher training on 4-5 August 2025.
This refresher training is designed for qualified PEFC auditors, reviewers or certification decision makers who wish to maintain their qualification to issue certification against the 2020 PEFC chain of custody related standards, as required by PEFC ST 2003.
While auditors globally are welcome to attend, we have scheduled the timing of this online training to be particularly suitable for auditors within the Pacific time zone.
The details
The two-day training takes place online, 4-5 August 2025, at 16:00-20:00 CEST / 7:00-11:00 PDT.
The training will focus predominantly on the second edition of the PEFC Chain of Custody guidance document (GD 2001), published in June. This updated document provides additional and/or amended clarifications on several requirements within the PEFC chain of custody related standards (Chain of Custody, Trademarks, and Certification Body Requirements).
Specifically, through a series of presentations, we will cover the updated clarifications found within the updated guidance document, including definitions, outsourcing, input/output, and trademarks.
The training will also cover the PEFC EUDR Due Diligence System, PEFC ST 2002-1:2024 module standard followed by a series of case stories.
Before the training, participants are expected to read the related PEFC standards. Participants will also be provided with case studies in advance of the training and will need to provide their answers to the trainers.
The training will be given by PEFC International Technical Experts Ambra Scodro, Rob Shaw, and Linda Matole and will be held in English.
The participation fee for the training is 540 CHF. The registration deadline is 31 July.
