Chain of custody & EUDR refresher training: PEFC International

Auditor training

Experienced auditors, reviewers, and certification decision makers are invited to register for a PEFC recognised chain of custody and EUDR DDS refresher training on 27 November 2025.

This refresher training is designed for qualified PEFC auditors, reviewers or certification decision makers who wish to maintain their qualification to issue certification against the 2020 PEFC chain of custody related standards, as required by PEFC ST 2003.

The details

The one-day training takes place online, 9:00-17:00, 27 November 2025.

This training will cover the latest PEFC chain of custody updates according to Chain of Custody Guidance for Use, PEFC GD 2001 as well as the PEFC EUDR Due Diligence System, PEFC ST 2002-1:2024.

The training will equip auditors with the knowledge they need to help companies transition to the new DDS module standard, which is a pathway to EUDR alignment. 

Before the training, participants are expected to read the related PEFC standards. Participants will also be provided with case studies in advance of the training and will need to provide their answers to the trainers.

The training will be given by PEFC International Technical Expert John Roger and will be held in English.

The participation fee for the training is 515 CHF. The registration deadline is 20 November 2025.

Knowledge test

Following the training, participants will have three weeks to complete the online knowledge test. Participants that pass this test will receive a PEFC recognised chain of custody training certificate within two weeks. Successful participants will also be added to the PEFC register of trained auditors, reviewers, and certification decision makers.
