As an auditor, reviewer, or certification decision maker, the newly released second edition of the PEFC Chain of Custody guidance document is your new reference for all your chain of custody explanations and clarifications. In this upcoming session, PEFC UK will introduce you to the changes in the updated document and the implications for you.
Since its first publication in 2022, the PEFC Chain of Custody guidance document (GD 2001) has provided PEFC chain of custody certified companies, certification bodies, and other key stakeholders with explanations and clarifications to the PEFC Chain of Custody related standards. The updated document provides further additional and/or amended clarification on several requirements.
To assist certification body auditors, reviewers, and certification decision makers in understanding the changes and their implications, PEFC UK is holding a free-of-charge webinar on Wednesday 6 August, 10:00-13:00 CEST.
The first hour of the session will present the changes, including a Q&A, followed by a run through of a series of case studies designed to reflect the amendments to the document.
The webinar will be hosted by PEFC International Technical Expert John Kirkby, National Secretary of PEFC UK.
In addition, PEFC UK is also holding two sessions for PEFC chain of custody certificate holders on 5 August and 17 September. Find out more.
Please note that the session is being hosted by PEFC UK to provide further assistance to certification bodies. Attendance is not mandatory and does not affect the qualification status of current auditors, reviewers, or certification decision makers. There is no end of course assessment, however, PEFC UK will issue a certificate of attendance for all that attend.
