“We are delighted with this development,” said Antonio Brunori, Secretary General of PEFC Italy. “As an Italian company operating throughout the world, the impact Barilla can have, not only directly through purchasing certified cardboard, but also by raising awareness of the importance of sustainable forest management, is huge.”

By choosing PEFC-certified cardboard, Barilla is assured that the fiber comes from forests that are managed according to the highest ecological, social and ethical standards – protecting both the forest environment itself and the people that live and work in them.
