As Director and co-founder of the Australian design and construction company Cadence and Co, Darren Mills is familiar with advising clients on building materials.

For the stables on his own Northern Sydney property, he selected Weathertex’s PEFC-certified Weathergroove timber panels.

The stables complement a luxurious home in a peaceful bushland setting. They resemble an American barn with a curved ceiling and are clad in wide, natural hardwood timber panels.

A special kind of timber panels

Weathergroove Panels are the largest panels on the Australian market and are well suited to the big scale of this building. Despite their size, they can still be installed quickly and efficiently.

Weathertex produces these panels using 97% Australian hardwood timber with Responsible Wood certification – the PEFC national member for Australia.

This provides end users with peace of mind, as PEFC certification tracks forest-based products through the entire supply chain, from a sustainably-managed forest to the end product.

Cadence and Co has built a reputation for their attention to detail and ability to achieve an exceptional looking, high quality product. The key to this ability lies in the careful selection of suppliers.

Jason O’Hagan, Managing Director for Weathertex said, “Our customers are better informed than ever and seeking safer, alternative building materials.

They want value for money and high-quality products from transparent and environmentally and socially responsible brands. At Weathertex, we can tick all the boxes when it comes to customer trust by way of product transparency from our third-party certification.”
