Endorsed National Forest Certification Systems

National forest certification systems are developed at national level, enabling them to be adapted to local conditions, consistent with national laws and regulations, and meet the expectations of stakeholders on the ground.

Once a country has developed a national forest certification system in line with our requirements, the system is submitted to us for endorsement. The system will then go through an independent and rigorous assessment process before it can be endorsed.

The full system documentation, the assessment report and the endorsement history and key dates are all publicly available here.
