While forest certification existed in Ghana, it lacked international recognition. This project helped get the national forest certification system through key stages of development, moving it towards PEFC endorsement.

Supporting stakeholders to develop the Macedonian forest certification system

Following on from an initial outreach project carried out in the Southwest Balkans, this project guided Macedonia through the system development process, up to their application to PEFC for endorsement.
Fostering partnerships to promote PEFC certification in Hungary
Smallholders
Hungary was one of the few remaining European countries with a significant share of private forest owners, but without a national forest certification system. Our Collaboration Fund project helped to change this.
